Python web application accessing the same data. The desktop application can be written in Visual FoxPro while the web application can be done in Python. It can be difficult to deploy a VFP app to the web because of the load VFP tends to put on the server – unless you have a dedicated server for your VFP web app, you’ll probably be better served with a Python web app on an Apache web server. Or, if you find that you need to deploy your desktop application to platforms other than the latest version of Windows, you can consider rewriting it in Python, coupled with a graphical toolkit such as Qt or wxPython.
