(Carefully read all BMW 530i instructions before installation) To remove the OEM exhaust system it is required to cut the factory system off. Measuring 10.5″ behind the weld on the passenger side catalytic converter cut exhaust pipe. Do the same 12.5″ behind the Driver side catalytic converter. See Fig. 1 for visual help. Disengage the hangers from the rubber isolators. Be sure to retain all existing mounting hardware as it will be needed to install your new MAGNAFLOW performance exhaust system.
