The Piaggio X9 500 is not bad for a compact 500cc scoot. Accelleration quite good, storage ok but others are better, 70mph seems a good cruiding speed for this scoot in terms of fuel usage and steadiness. If you have been used to larger cc motorcycles you will probably not like this machine as it does not handle anywhere near as good. The three-disk brake system brings high speeds to a halt safely, while the windscreen adjusts to three positions for maximum comfort.
